Booster Club - Subscription Fee

There is a $480/annual subscription fee for the booster club subscription service for using the platform.  

You will sign an agreement for this service.  The annual subscription of $480/year will be collected upfront prior to setting up your concession menu.  

Banner Ads

The mobile app may display banner ads (school audience appropriate) at the top of the menu page for each school.  The annual cost of a banner ad is $600/year per school.  We can place up to 20 company banner ads per school menu.  15% of the banner ad revenue will go back to the booster club.  This helps fund the app for you. 

What if you have more than 1 booster club for your school running concessions at different times of the year?

Each booster club will need to set up their account separately from other accounts.  For example, some schools have more than 1 booster club.  You can use this mobile app for multiple events all year long (with subscription), however, if you have 2 booster clubs with 2 separate checking accounts, then each booster club will need to sign up for a separate subscription.  We handle it this way for the funding to properly be distributed to the correct entity.  

Commonly Used Payment System Fee

We use common payment systems (i.e. PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard) which require fees to be paid to the bank for use of visa, master card, pay pal etc... Because of this, we must charge 2.99% plus $0.30 per transaction, that we will pay to the bank for their payment system services.  To help offset having the payment system fees subtracted from your club profits, we suggest you consider adjusting your retail sales prices accordingly. 

Convenience Fee and Tax on the Convenience Fee

For use of the mobile app, a $0.25 convenience fee will be charged for each customer transaction.  There is also a $0.02 tax on each convenience fee.  The convenience fee and tax on the fee will appear in each cart when an order is placed so the customer is aware of these fees.  The customer pays for the convenience fee and tax on the fee at the time they check out in the shopping cart.  Your booster club will not be required to pay the convenience fee tax, we at Snack Shack App are responsible for filing the tax.

Sales Tax

A booster club MUST be registered with the appropriate state and federal entities in order to be tax exempt through a 501(c)(3).  If you have any questions on this, please contact your tax advisor directly.  At the time of setting up your booster club account with Snack Shack App, we will ask for a copy of your 501(c)(3) verification/certificate for our files.
