Onboarding Steps

We can easily set up the mobile app for your school concession stand quickly.  Typically within 10 days after agreement is signed and we have your menu details. 

The following steps outline the process:

Step 1 - CONTACT DATA 

Complete Registration Form by clicking on the link.  This provides us with important contact information.

Step 2 - TAXES 

Booster Clubs/Select Sports Clubs must be 501(c)(3) certification in order to be allowed to be tax exempt for products sold.   

Non-profits can be set up tax exempt with Snack Shack App after providing proof of 501(c)(3).  If you cannot provide proof of 501(c)(3) certification, unfortunately we cannot set up until that proof is provided.  

 We also need the club/school Tax ID # - will be on the 501(c)(3) certificate.   

Step 3 - LOGO 

Please email admin@snackshackapp.com a JPEG or PNG version of your logo for the school booster club/select sports club app 

It will be at the top of the App Page so customers will know they are ordering from the right concession stand. 

STEP 4 - FINANCIAL 

All customer transactions through the app will be paid directly to Snackshack App via Google Pay/Apple Pay/Pay Pal/Visa/MC etc... 

Snack Shack App will run reports, calculate associated fees and then transfer the funds to your designated account.  We will handle setting up transfer accounts separately via email and phone due to confidentiality.  No form to complete here, it will be emailed to you for completion. 

NOTE: 

We use common payment systems (i.e. PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard) which requires fees to be paid to the bank for use of visa, master card, pay pal etc. Because of this, we must charge 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction.  Customers WILL NOT see the common payment system fees as these fees will be paid by the booster club.  We will deduct these fees from your total funds before we transfer money from sales into your bank account. 

Snackshack App charges $0.25/transaction convenience fee - this charge is paid by the customer when ordering their food/drinks.  Customers will see $0.25 Convenience Fee and $0.02 convenience tax on their order total. This fee is for use of the app. 

We will email you a detailed report of your sales.  This report will provide the fees paid for common payment system use.   This will confirm the amount of FUNDS that we will TRANSFER to your designated bank account for your non-profit 501(c)(3) entity. 

STEP 5 - AGREEMENT 

A terms of use and funding agreement must be signed before we can finalize setting up the account.   

STEP 6 - MENU 

Your menu - your prices.  A pre-populated spreadsheet template with common concession stand menu items and suggested prices will be emailed to you.  You will complete with your menu items and your menu prices for your concession stand.  You can add/delete or edit any of the items and prices.  Once you’ve updated the menu spreadsheet with your specific menu items and prices, you will email it back to us.  We will send a confirmation email receipt.  We will begin set up at this point.  

STEP 7 - TEST 

Once the club has their menu and prices set up, we will test (with you) a few transactions for ordering. 

STEP 8 - REPORTS 

You will confirm the email of where you want your sales reports sent to. 

Reports will be sent the day following the event.  Reports will provide details such as items sold, quantity sold and how much money was collected.  You can use this report to replenish your stock in your concession stand. 

STEP 9 - SPREAD THE WORD 

We will email you an email template and PDF brochure with QR code for your booster club or select sport club to email to your customers/families, students, teachers and parentsYou can also print copies of the brochure to post at the concession stand and post at the school/club so customers know what app to use to order food from the concession stand. 

STEP 10 - GO LIVE DATE 

We will determine the ‘go live’ date together. 

STEP 11- TRAINING 

We will provide you with a step-by-step training document, including pictures of the mobile app steps.  We will coach you through how the order flow of filling orders might look like when using the app.

STEP 12 - WORKER ACCESS (via the Worker Partner App) 

Workers will have a separate APP for Snack Shack App Partners to use for receiving and processing orders.  We will need a list of mobile phone numbers of the workers who will be working the concession stand.  We will email you a spreadsheet with the data needed to set up each workers access to the Snack Shack App Partner app.  

WE WILL NOT MISUSE PHONE NUMBERS. WE DO NOT SELL PHONE NUMBER INFORMATION.
